About the Artist

Waseem Almarzouki is a Syrian artist and filmmaker based in Los Angeles. He holds a BA in Fine Arts from Damascus University and studied cinematography in Hollywood, California. His work has been exhibited internationally at galleries such as the Giudecca Art Gallery in Italy, Saatchi Gallery in London, Castelli Gallery in Los Angeles, Meem Gallery in Dubai, the Institute of Islamic Cultures in Paris, Castor Gallery in New York, among others. His art is also part of several permanent collections worldwide.
