VENICE BIENNALE _ GRENADA PAVILION _ ITALY
Film Work (Creative Director & Producer) A film exploring the psychological and emotional duality of an American soldier during the Iraq War. The narrative contrasts moments of intimate family life in the United States—spoken through phone conversations with his children—with the brutality and tension of military operations and interactions with Iraqi prisoners. The work examines the fragmentation of identity between domestic normalcy and wartime violence. Directed by Mahmoud Al-Obaidi (2017), the film was presented at the 57th Venice Biennale – Grenada Pavilion, Venice, Italy.
